They had asked me ahead of time to do The Heap for them and I was more than happy to oblige. The Heap is the short news segment at the beginning of each of their episodes which is a great fit with Nerdtainment.

So, I logged in to Ustream.tv about a half hour early and had some fun conversations in the chat room. Then when the show began my computer promptly froze. I tried to close the page…nothing. I tried to close Firefox…nothing. I tried to restart…nothing. I eventually had to manually shut down my poor baby and restart. By the time I got back to the Ustream page, Jim was ending the show. OMGah!!!! I was so bummed.

Everyone in the chat room seemed to have enjoyed themselves so I believe it was a hit. And luckily, Jim & Chuck posted the edited version. I love it! They made a great list of 13 podcasts you should be watching. The Clip Show truly is a fabulous resource to online entertainment. Here’s the episode…

I have been watching this show since November 2006 and it has never disappointed. Jim Kirks and Charlie Baker write/produce/shoot this weekly series with wit and high quality production value. I am astounded that they do this all on their own. Someone get them a sponsor, plz!
